Reservations are made on a first-come first-serve basis and are tentative until "secured" with a non-refundable deposit. When the deposit is received, Open Air Projections services are guaranteed at your event on that date.
For prime time rentals (June 1st to September 30) book early. First decide on your location then contact us to reserve your date and to assist you with your movie selections. Keep in mind advertising your movie is possible so begin planning your event now!
If inclement weather prevents the complete screening of the film, where less than 50% of the film is presented, Open Air Projections guarantees the Customer one make-up event in that season. Two fees will be charged: travel costs associated with returning to
your venue, and costs related to employee time.
You may shift event dates due to forecasted inclement weather. No charges will be applied if our staff has not begun traveling to your venue.
If the weather looks threatening (imminent rain, rain, looming thunder clouds, dangerous winds capable of damaging equipment) Open Air Projections reserves the right to protect its own equipment by canceling setup/production.
Open Air Projections reserves the right to delay setup or to delay the production until suitable weather conditions exist.
Open Air Technicians begin setup at the customers specified time typically 4-6pm. The AIRSCREEN® will be set up within a ½ hour. The entire system will take about 1hour to set up. Audio equipment tests begin immediately after the screen is standing, and projection tests begin at dusk. The AIRSCREEN® will begin deflating 15 minutes after the end of the movie, unless otherwise specified by customer. After the movie, all equipment will be removed within 1/2 hour.
The remaining 50% of payment (first 50% covered by non-refundable deposit) is due at your event. If you have questions about our policies, please contact us!
